Rob Sellers began making wood baseball bats in the summer of 1996. Soon after, Sellers Bat Company was born. From 1999 to 2003, Sellers Bat Company was licensed to make wood bats for professional play with Major League Baseball.
Rob began his woodworking career at Conroe (TX) High School, taking two years of Woodworking under Mr. C.E. Reed. He made many items of furniture for his and his wife’s home and continued to obtain pieces of equipment for his woodshop. In 1995, Rob bought a 1940 Oliver wood lathe from a Houston Independent School District Auction. With his sons playing Little League Baseball and playing baseball in the backyard with the neighborhood boys, it seemed only natural that Rob would combine his woodworking ability and his love of sports. Rob’s first bat, Big Bertha, was created in June of 1996 and the rest is history.

Sellers Bat Company makes Wood Baseball Bats, Commemorative Bats and MiniBats, Vertical and Horizontal Bat Holders, Horizontal MiniBat Holders, Coach’s Bat Holders, Bat and Baseball Holders, Bat, Glove and Baseball Holders, Photo Action Plaques, Welcome Plaques, Baseball Clocks and custom products that you dream up.
